A well-known Russian comedy shot in the format of amateur wedding video. The film was released in 2013, and its events unfold in the picturesque Gelendzhik, where the main filming took place. Additionally, the film crew worked in Novorossiysk and the village of Divnomorskoye. The entire shooting process took only 23 days. Initially, director Zhora Kryzhovnikov planned to shoot the film in Moscow, but ultimately chose Gelendzhik, with which he had warm childhood memories.

Scene where one of the wedding guests decides on an adventure – to steal the head of a monument in the center of the embankment. His friend tries to talk him out of it, but to no avail. The man is already running swiftly with the head in his hands. Bursts of laughter and delighted cries from the guests fill the air.

In Reality

The scene was filmed near the sculpture "Tourist" in Gelendzhik — one of the most recognizable landmarks on the city embankment. It is located near the central beach, against the backdrop of a picturesque bay. The monument is a bronze figure of a vacationing tourist in a cap, with a backpack on his back and a camera in his hands. He stands in a relaxed pose, as if he has just arrived in Gelendzhik and is pondering where to go next.
