Russian sci-fi film by Andrey Malyukov about time travel. The filming took place in the Pskov region, where three key locations were used: the village of Orekhovichi, Lake Zhukovskoye (near the village of Znamenka), and the village of Rodovoye. It was here that the atmosphere of the Great Patriotic War was recreated, making the immersion into history as realistic as possible. Most of the material – about 80% – was shot in these places. The filmmakers paid special attention to historical accuracy: battle scenes were staged based on authentic Soviet photographs, and actors and extras replicated poses captured in archival images. The working title of the film was "Sledopyty" (Pathfinders), but the final version – "We Are from the Future" – better reflected its essence and idea.

They are joined by Chukha, Borman's longtime friend, and Cherep, a radical skinhead with an aggressive personality.

The scene was filmed in the village of Orekhovichi. This residential settlement, located 30 kilometers from Pskov, is a picturesque and secluded place, ideal for filming a historical movie. Surrounding it are spacious fields, forests, and old wooden houses with sloping roofs, creating a feeling that time has slowed down here. This corner of nature, with its silence and seclusion, seems to preserve the memory of the past, making it a perfect backdrop for scenes related to history and the reconstruction of Great Patriotic War events.

The scene where in the soldier's books found by the black diggers, they discover their own names and photographs. At first, they think it's just hallucinations from strong bootleg vodka, and they run to the nearest lake, hoping to swim and sober up. But jumping into the water, they unexpectedly find themselves in 1942.

The scene was filmed on Lake Zhukovskoye in the Pskov region. This picturesque spot has clear water and green shores, surrounded by forest. Here you can find calm areas with good reflections in the water, as well as steeper, more rugged banks. The lake looks different in various seasons: green landscapes in summer, bright foliage colors in autumn. It's a great place for filming if you need to convey the atmosphere of secluded nature or a historical time.

The scene where the heroes manage to blow up an enemy pillbox, but Chukha gets shot. Despite his injuries, his friends drag him to the portal lake, hoping for rescue. Together they submerge and find themselves in another era. When they emerge, they discover they are in the present day.

The scene was filmed on Lake Serebryanoye in the Pskov region. It is located in a secluded area, making it an excellent place for creating atmospheric scenes. The lake has clear water and beautiful shores, with small coves and sandy areas. It is situated in a region where forested areas begin, creating picturesque views, especially in the early morning or at sunset.
