The series was filmed in London and Watford, Tallinn and Cairo. The film crew spent a total of five months in three countries: England, Estonia and Egypt. While the streets of London served as the series' exteriors, interiors and some action scenes were shot at Leavesden Studios in Watford. The studio's extensive 100-acre grounds allowed the series' team to freely bring all their ideas to life.

Scene where a heavily drunk undercover agent leaves an establishment and gets behind the wheel of a car. As he pulls out of the parking lot, he hits a nearby car and speeds away from the scene. He is pursued by the Belarusian police. After crashing the car, the hero flees on foot but is quickly apprehended after being shot with a taser. The scene takes place in the first episode of the first season.

In Reality

The scene was filmed on Narva Highway in Tallinn, as well as in the Lasnamäe district and on streets near the Hilton Hotel. The capital of Estonia appeared on screen as Minsk, where the events of the plot unfold. Estonia has a program to support foreign film productions. About 20-30% of expenses are returned to the state budget. Therefore, despite the inconveniences associated with film production, city residents are loyal to it.

In the Movie

Scene where Frank watches a video recording of a future undercover agent taking a test. The test is failed, and the hero realizes it is his fault. To divert suspicion from himself, he damages the recording, making it unusable for later viewing.

In Reality

The scene was filmed in London. The exterior of the Agency headquarters was embodied by the US Embassy building in the capital of England. This cube-shaped structure is a distinctive feature of the Nine Elms district in London. The building overlooking the Thames serves as a striking example of ultra-modern architecture in the modernist style.

Streets of Ethiopia

In the Movie

Scene where a demonstration takes place in a square in Ethiopia, where protesters are protesting against the military regime. In the center of the rally, Sami with a microphone chants slogans. Local police arrive to disperse the demonstrators. Martian leads the heroine away, and they flee through neighboring streets. Running out of a building, they get on a parked scooter and drive away. The scene takes place in the fourth episode of the first season.

In Reality

The scene was filmed on the streets of Cairo. In the capital of Egypt, the film crew used the city's bazaar, intricate alleyways, and views of slums to depict on screen the noisy, densely populated streets of an African country engulfed in a military coup.
