Filming began on December 19, 2012 in Hong Kong. One of the significant elements of the film was the recreation of the Tsing Ma Bridge. Despite initial resistance from the Hong Kong government, the film crew managed to build an exact replica of the bridge, which required an additional investment of 50 million Hong Kong dollars. This decision significantly enhanced the spectacle and realism of the film. In addition to urban scenes, the film used natural landscapes of Hong Kong, as well as the now-closed Kai Tak Airport. In addition to these locations, the film also includes views of the Changbai Mountains, known for their picturesque nature. The spectacular action scenes of the film could not have been done without the use of luxury cars, including a black Lamborghini donated by actor Julian Cheung for a chase scene.

In Reality

The scene was filmed in the former Kai Tak Airport building. Today, the airport area has been transformed into a small park and the Hong Kong Children's Hospital, and in April 2019, construction of the Kai Tak Sports Park began on this site. Upon completion, the Kai Tak Sports Park will become the most famous sports facility in Hong Kong, featuring a main stadium, an indoor sports center, a public sports ground, and several open spaces.

The scene was filmed in a residential area in western Hong Kong, Tuen Mun. It is located on the coast of the South China Sea and borders several other districts such as Yuen Long and Tsing Po. Tuen Mun is known for its numerous residential complexes, shopping centers, as well as administrative and cultural institutions. With its developed infrastructure and access to the sea, Tuen Mun is an important part of the city for both locals and businesses.

Scene where Ho Ying spends more and more time with Mei. This time they go to a boarding house where her mother lives, who suffers from health problems. Ho Ying, using an ancient massage technique, helps the woman. Immediately after the procedure, she feels better.

In Reality

The scene was filmed against the backdrop of the majestic Chinese Changbai Mountains. They are located on the border of China and North Korea, covering the Chinese provinces of Jilin, Heilongjiang, and Liaoning. This mountain range, consisting mainly of old granites and metamorphic rocks, has many intermontane fault depressions. The mountain peaks, rising to heights of over 2,700 meters, are often hidden in clouds, giving this place a mystical and mysterious appearance.
