The film tells the story of the large Rakhmatullin family, drowning in debt and desperately seeking a way out. Their last chance is to participate in the "Family of the Year" contest, where the main prize could save them from financial ruin. Hoping for victory, they embark on a long and difficult journey in their old minibus. Initially, director Aynur Askarov conceived this project as a sequel to the film "From Ufa with Love," but later the concept changed, and audiences got a dynamic comedy road movie. Filming took place in picturesque corners of Bashkortostan – in Ufa, as well as in the Abzelilovsky and Beloretsky districts. The director admits that working on a road movie was challenging, especially given the shift of filming from summer to autumn. However, this allowed showcasing the nature of Bashkiria in all its glory. Cinematographer Vyacheslav Lozhkov captured the golden autumn, albeit short, in all its picturesque palette. "The leaves fall quickly, the golden autumn lasts only 10 days, but we managed! – shared producer Aynur Askarov. – The filming process took 35 days, stretched over a year, and the last shots were taken just before the premiere."

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the restaurant complex "Stary Ochag" (Old Hearth), located in the village of Tashbulatovo in the Abzelilovsky District of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It is designed in a traditional Bashkir style, combining wooden architecture and elements of national decor. The restaurant's menu includes dishes of traditional Bashkir, Russian, and European cuisine. They serve fresh pastries, meat dishes prepared according to ancient recipes, aromatic soups, and signature herbal tea collected in the surrounding mountains. An excellent place to catch your breath and have a bite!

Bridge

The scene where our heroes are getting closer to the contest venue, but at the very entrance to the city, trouble awaits them — they get stuck in a huge traffic jam. Moreover, misfortune never comes alone: Bulat's temperature rises, and he starts suffering from a severe cough.

In Reality

The scene was filmed on the Belsky Bridge in Ufa. This is an important transport artery connecting the central part of the city with the Zaton district. Spanning the Belaya River, it offers breathtaking views of the water surface, coastal forests, and urban landscapes. This modern engineering structure, about 670 meters long, was built in 2018, replacing the old bridge that could not cope with the increased load.

The scene where finally, the Rakhmatullin family reaches the "Family of the Year" contest! Everyone jumps out of the car and, headlong, runs into the concert hall, carrying costumes and musical instruments. When the family enters the hall, they involuntarily gasp in delight.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan," which is one of the main cultural venues in Ufa and is located in the very center of the city. This is a modern multifunctional space where concerts, theatrical performances, festivals, and various ceremonial events take place.
