The 2004 comedy-drama film starring Lindsay Lohan perfectly captures the rollercoaster of teenage life. Although the movie is set in New York and New Jersey, most of the filming took place in Canada. The crew shot the majority of scenes in Oakville and Burlington, Ontario. Toronto also played a significant role in the film's production. Oakville, known for its picturesque harbors and bustling shopping districts, served as an excellent suburban backdrop. Meanwhile, Toronto, with its vibrant urban atmosphere and iconic landmarks like the Lakeview Diner, added a touch of city charm to the picture.
