The first season was filmed in the city of Tula, in locations significant to the director. The courtyards seen in the series were shot in the Krivoluchye microdistrict. The bandits' lair was located under the bridge near Lake Goryachka. The film crew also visited Central Park. The market scenes were filmed in the town of Kireyevsk, Tula Region.
For the second season, the production team went to Krasnodar Krai. The third season was filmed in the Moscow suburbs, in Dzerzhinsk, Elektrougli, and Zhukovsky — towns with many locations that can convey the atmosphere of the 1990s.

The scene where Sanka and Vovka climb onto the roof of a residential building. In the distance, they notice a girl sunbathing topless. The friends hide so as not to be seen and whisper about the heroine's chest. Sanka peeks out from cover, but the now-dressed girl catches the heroes off guard. In Reality

The scene was filmed on the roof of building 33 on Maxim Gorky Street in Tula. The series takes place in 1993, and director Ilya Aksenov decided to capture the roof of the house he actually lived in at that time.

Bridge

The scene was filmed on a small bridge over the Voronka River. Nearby is the Kosogorsky Metallurgical Plant, visible in the background. According to the plot, the kids are going to a secluded gang hideout, so the road to it looks as unappealing as the lair itself.

The scene was filmed under the Kosogorsky Bridge, near Lake Goryachka in Tula. The same Kosogorsky Metallurgical Plant is visible in the background. The director mentioned in an interview that during his youth, this area was considered dangerous because it was a base for Roma people and illegal substance trading. That is what prompted him to shoot at this location.
