The plot of the popular comedy series unfolds in two neighboring apartments on the same landing — according to the script, they are located on Botanicheskaya Street in the VDNKh area. In apartment No. 26 live Kostya and Vera with their children, and opposite, in apartment No. 25, are Kostya's parents. Both apartments are connected by a common balcony, through which the protagonist's parents regularly visit the children, which became one of the series' trademarks. The main filming took place not in real apartments, but in specially built sets in a pavilion. The interiors were recreated from drywall, decorated in a cozy style familiar to the viewer. These sets became a "home" for the film crew for many years — hundreds of episodes were shot here, and actors often admitted that they felt at home on set. The series was filmed not only in the pavilion: several episodes were shot in Yaroslavl (in 2018) and in Sochi (in 2019), adding some fresh landscapes and new impressions to the usual picture. Interestingly, the set of "The Voronins" was located next to the sets of the series "Daddy's Daughters" — the two TV projects were literally neighbors.

The scene where a small family drama unfolds in an ordinary Moscow apartment. The main character, Kostya, is approached by his daughter asking for candy. The father smiles, hides the sweets, and jokingly says: "Mashul, too many sweets are bad for you, or your bows will stick together."

In reality

The scene was filmed at the house at Komsomolsky Prospekt, 41, located in the Central Administrative District, in the Khamovniki area. The area is characterized by developed infrastructure, proximity to the Moscow River embankment and major transport interchanges. The house itself is located not far from the metro stations "Frunzenskaya" and "Sportivnaya", as well as within walking distance of Gorky Park and Neskuchny Garden. This part of the city is actively used for filming due to its recognizable Moscow landscapes and accessible transport infrastructure.

The scene where the older Voronins quarreled, seemingly over a trifle — solyanka. As a result of this quarrel, Kostya's mother moved in with him, and his wife Vera, unable to bear the tense atmosphere, went to live with his parents.

In reality

The scene was filmed in one of the pavilions of the AMEDIA film studio, located in Moscow. The studio's pavilions are equipped with everything necessary for creating interior scenes: spacious shooting halls with high ceilings, professional lighting and sound, as well as convenient infrastructure for actors and the film crew. On the territory of the pavilion, sets of two adjacent apartments were specially built – Kostya Voronin's and his parents'. These sets were repeatedly rebuilt and refined depending on the plot needs, but remained essentially constant for dozens of seasons. The space was organized to imitate a typical Moscow apartment, with household details recognizable to many viewers.

The scene where our heroes go on a river cruise. Of course, with the whole family (which doesn't exactly make Vera happy). The ship makes a stop in beautiful Yaroslavl, and the Voronins decide to go on a tour of the city's most famous landmarks.

In reality

The scene was filmed at the Yaroslavl Kremlin — a historical fortress located in the center of Yaroslavl, on the high right bank of the Volga River. This is one of the most significant architectural and cultural sites of the city. The Kremlin was founded in the 12th-13th centuries, and its walls and towers have witnessed many historical events. The area around the Kremlin offers picturesque views of the Volga River and the old part of the city, making this place attractive for filming.
