The plot of the series revolves around a group of participants who arrive on a deserted island to take part in a new reality show. According to the project's script, they must survive in the wild, complete tasks, earn points, and accumulate a common prize fund while competing for the attention of TV viewers. However, soon everything spirals out of control: the yacht with the film crew explodes, and the participants, unaware of the scale of the disaster, mistake it for the start of the show. They continue to complete tasks, not knowing that no one is actually filming them and there is no help to be expected — there is no communication with the outside world, and the show itself has long ceased to exist. As actor Evgeny Kulik, who played one of the key roles, said, the filming took place in four locations — Moscow, Thailand, the Dominican Republic, and the Seychelles. The main part of the series was filmed in the Seychelles, where the cast spent about four months without the ability to leave the island. According to Kulik, the conditions were much harsher than one might imagine — the filming became a real test both physically and psychologically.

The scene where eight participants land on a picturesque tropical island. They are surrounded by white sand, azure water, lush greenery — everything looks like paradise on earth. The atmosphere is still light and upbeat — everyone believes that an exciting adventure awaits them. On the beach, they are met by the only local resident — a tanned middle-aged man in simple clothes. He is introduced as the guide and curator of the project, explaining that he will help the participants settle in and accompany them throughout the show.

The scene was filmed in the Seychelles. This is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, northeast of Madagascar. The location is ideal for filming due to its combination of picturesque nature and remoteness from civilization.

The scene where in a Moscow office, the TV channel director sees shocking news on the screen — the yacht with the film crew of the reality show "The Island" has exploded. The director's face turns to stone. He stands up, stunned, and moves closer to the screen. A few seconds later, the announcer adds: "Our sources report that there are survivors. They have been taken to a local hospital."

The scene was filmed in the business center of Moscow — among glass skyscrapers, office buildings, and wide avenues. For the interiors, a modern office space in one of the business centers was used, decorated in a minimalist style: panoramic windows with a view of the city, furniture in neutral tones, glass partitions, light panels, and screens with news feeds.

In the Movie

The scene where German goes to conquer Moscow — in a taxi weaving through dense traffic. Outside the window, residential areas, high-rise buildings, and majestic monuments of the capital flash by. He sits in the back seat with a neatly hung suit on a hanger, carefully holding it to avoid wrinkles. In his phone is the address of an upscale restaurant in the center, where he has been invited to host a corporate event.
In Reality

The scene was filmed near the monument to Yuri Gagarin on Leninsky Prospekt in Moscow — one of the most recognizable monuments of the capital. The 42-meter titanium stele rises above a wide transport artery, symbolizing humanity's aspiration into space. Around it is a spacious square with wide sidewalks and lampposts, surrounded by Soviet architecture, panel houses, administrative buildings, and busy street traffic.
