How to permanently remove the #DIV/0! error in Excel?
Use the IFERROR function. For example, =IFERROR(B2/C2, 0).
It catches any error, not just division by zero, and replaces it with your value — 0, an empty string, or text.
For complex calculations, such as averages, you also need to ignore zeros. To learn how, see the guide on calculating averages without zeros and errors in Excel.
