In 2021, management of the ship was transferred to the city of Long Beach. Ciro's was a famous nightclub on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. It was popular with stars such as Bogart, Bacall, Sinatra, Monroe, Lucille Ball, and Desi. It opened in 1940 but closed in 1957. It reopened as a rock club in 1965 and became The Comedy Store in 1972.
