The scene was filmed at Lake Forest subdivision, a limited-equity recreational community on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay, about a fifteen-minute drive from downtown Mobile. The pool is one of the sports facilities. It is not open to the general public.

The scene was filmed at Dew Drop Inn, Mobile's oldest restaurant and one of the city's most beloved spots for an inexpensive meal. Although you can order anything from a hamburger to seafood, the restaurant is really known for its hot dogs. In fact, the original owner became known around town as the "hot dog king" shortly after opening the restaurant.

Fairhope Avenue - Intersection
