The scene was filmed at Waddesdon Manor - a country house in the village of Waddesdon, Buckinghamshire, England. It is owned by the National Trust and managed by the Rothschild Foundation. The Grade I listed house was built in the Neo-Renaissance style, copying individual features of several French châteaux, between 1874 and 1889 for Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild (1839-1898) as a weekend residence for entertainment and to house his collection of art and antiques. The rooms in the French Renaissance-style château were perfect for the Monte Carlo hotel part at the beginning of the film. Many films and series have been filmed at Waddesdon Manor, including "The Crown", "Downton Abbey", "The Queen", "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows", and "Cinderella".

Jardin Exotique de Monaco

In Reality

The scene was filmed at Albert I, Prince of Monaco, acquired a plot of land which in 1912 became the Jardin Exotique de Monaco. He gave Louis Notari, Monaco's chief engineer, the task of building the garden. Notari discovered a grotto which became an important part of the garden in 1916. The garden was completed in 1933. The grotto was only opened to visitors in 1950. It can only be visited with specialized guides.

In Reality

The scene was filmed at The manor dates back to around 1207 and was originally a hunting lodge. The grounds are open to visitors only on Wednesday afternoons. However, the house is still occupied, so entry inside the mansion is not allowed. Filming began in June 2019 at Cranborne Manor in Dorset.

The scene was filmed at Hatfield House is a country house set in a large park. It was built in 1611 by Robert Cecil, 1st Earl of Salisbury and Chief Minister to King James I, and has been the home of the Cecil family ever since. The house, currently lived in by Robert Gascoyne-Cecil, 7th Marquess of Salisbury, is open to the public. The Marble Hall was built in 1611, and today it remains the same as it has been for all these centuries. Over the years it has been used as a venue for banquets and balls.
