The scene was filmed at The Royal Liver Building is one of the most recognizable landmarks of Liverpool, with two mythical Liver Birds watching over the city and the sea. The building is located on Pier Head and, together with the neighboring Cunard Building and Port of Liverpool Building, is one of the "Three Graces" of Liverpool, lining the city's waterfront. It was also part of the Liverpool Maritime Mercantile City, formerly a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A stunt double in a Batman costume was photographed on top of the Royal Liver Building in Liverpool on October 16, 2020.

The scene was filmed at St. George's Hall is a building on St. George's Place, opposite Lime Street railway station in central Liverpool. Opened in 1854, this neoclassical building houses concert halls and law courts and is listed on the National Heritage List for England as a Grade I listed building. In October 2020, some areas of Liverpool were transformed into Gotham City.

The scene was filmed at Glasgow Cathedral was used only for exterior shots; for interior shots, the film crew built cathedral sets in Hangar 1 of Cardington Airfield (GPS 2.109292, -0.423153). Residents were notified that filming would take place in Hangar 1 at Cardington from Wednesday 12th to Thursday 27th February 2020.
