The scene was filmed at 818 W. 7th Building - a historic office building built in 1925, located in downtown Los Angeles. It is a 12-story brick building occupying an entire block. The lobby, which we do not see in the series because another building (namely CalEdison) was used for interior filming, is a 3-story marble lobby with a vaulted ceiling.

The scene was filmed at Hotel Alexandria - a historic building built as a luxury hotel in the early 20th century. It was designed by architect John B. Parkinson. On February 12, 1906, it opened as an 8-story luxury hotel. Another wing was added 5 years later. The hotel was sold, closed, and reopened several times. In 2005, the area around the hotel was gradually redeveloped. Today, the building is a mix of market-rate and subsidized housing. In David Fincher's film "Seven," it served as the residence of the killer John Doe. Hotel Alexandria offers three iconic event spaces, one of which is the upstairs ballroom used for filming "The Morning Show." The ballrooms were restored after decades. They are used for parties, weddings, events, and filming. For the scene, the ballroom was heavily dressed. The location was identified by Reddit user @esotouric_tours

The scene was filmed at Occidental College - a private liberal arts college in Los Angeles. Informally, the college is also known as Oxy. It was founded in 1887. At that time, it was a coeducational college founded by clergy and members of the Presbyterian Church. In 1910, it became non-sectarian. The college was designed by architect Myron Hunt. Johnson Hall was donated by Mr. and Mrs. O. T. Johnson, generous benefactors of the college.

The scene was filmed at It seems that the villa filming was supposed to take place on Lake Como in Italy, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the crew was forced to look for local locations. They found Villa del Sol d'Oro in Sierra Madre. They used the gates and driveway there. About filming at Mitch's villa, director Mimi Leder told Variety: "I hired a drone to shoot everything from the air, and then we hired a drone in Italy to figure out where we could place our Italian villa. We hired a drone to shoot from all angles, and then we placed our villa." Villa del Sol d'Oro was the dream home of renowned Los Angeles physician Dr. Walter Jarvis Barlow and his wife Marion Brooks Barlow. It was designed by Pasadena architect Wallace Neff, who also designed the Gillette Mansion. The house was built between 1924 and 1928 in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. In 1942, the mansion was sold to the Sisters of St. Francis after Dr. Barlow passed away in 1937. Although the mansion is still used as a school, it has also become a location for television and film productions, as well as a beautiful backdrop for print publications.
