The scene was filmed at José Martí Park is named after the Cuban patriot and poet who dedicated his life to the idea of liberating his country. This is a 1.7-acre green space along the Miami River. It features a public riverwalk and recreational amenities such as an outdoor basketball court, covered gym, and picnic tables. It also has a six-lane, 25-meter pool.
