The scene was filmed at Allegheny Cemetery - one of the largest and oldest burial grounds in Pittsburgh. It all began in 1844. This makes the cemetery the sixth oldest rural cemetery in America. Some of the oldest burials belong to soldiers who fought in the French and Indian War. In 1980, the entire cemetery was listed on the National Register.

The scene was filmed in the original studio where they filmed the Rogers show. Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was an American half-hour educational children's television series that was created and hosted by Fred Rogers. The series was aimed primarily at preschool ages 2 to 5, but it was labelled by PBS as "appropriate for all ages”. Established on April 1, 1954, WQED was the first community-sponsored television station in the U.S. The station has been the flagship for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

Opened in 1903, it became a leading theatrical venue, and in later years also served as a network radio and television studio, nightclub, movie theatre, and corporate event space. The Hudson opened on October 19, 1903.
