The scene was filmed at "Seven Sisters" is a series of chalk cliffs on the English Channel coast. They are the remnants of dry valleys in the chalk South Downs, gradually eroded by the sea. These cliffs are sometimes used in film and television as a stand-in for the more famous White Cliffs of Dover.

The scene was filmed at Lacock Abbey in the village of Lacock was founded in the early 13th century. It remained a nunnery until the 16th century. It was sold to Sir William Sharington, who converted the monastery into a residence. The house and the surrounding village of Lacock were given to the National Trust in 1944. The abbey houses the Fox Talbot Museum, dedicated to William Talbot's pioneering work in photography.
