The scene was filmed at Hotels van Oranje - a hotel complex on Koningin Wilhelminaboulevard in Noordwijk aan Zee. It consists of two hotels, Hotel van Oranje and Beach Hotel, with intermediate conference rooms and utility buildings.

The scene was filmed at Keukenhof Castle in Lisse, originally built in 1642 as a classicist country house by Adriaen Maertensz. Block, a former VOC commander in the Moluccas. Keukenhof Castle owes its greatest fame to the Keukenhof flower exhibition, which is held on part of the estate.
