The film was shot in New York City and its suburbs, mainly in one location - Trump Tower, which in the plot is an elite residential complex, which basically corresponds to the chosen location. Some scenes, such as Josh's meeting with the FBI agent, were filmed in the suburbs of New York.

Scene where Arthur Shaw drives up to the entrance of the "tower" in his car, where a crowd of journalists is already waiting for him. He is suspected in a case of embezzlement of the pension fund and therefore placed under house arrest in his expensive penthouse.
In Reality

The scene was filmed at Trump Tower - a high-rise building located between Broadway and Central Park. The building's height is 177.6 m. It is owned by the General Electric Pension Trust and includes hotel rooms and residential condominiums. Originally, this building was the Gulf and Western Building, designed by Thomas E. Stanley and built in 1969 or 1970.

Scene where Josh arranges a meeting with Special Agent Claire Denham at a bar. Despite his principles, he still decides to hand over the papers that confirm all of Arthur Shaw's movements and a huge amount of confidential information, but it turns out the FBI already has all of it.
In Reality


The scene was filmed at Neir's bar, founded in 1829 and, according to the owners, is one of the oldest bars not only in New York but in the entire country. It has been operating almost continuously since 1829 (except during Prohibition) under various names such as Blue Pump Room, Old Abbey, Neir's Social Hall, and Union Course Tavern.
