The scene was filmed at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, often called Flushing Meadows Park or simply Flushing Meadows, is a public park in New York City. Located in northern Queens, it includes the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (venue for the US Open tennis tournament), Citi Field (home stadium of the New York Mets baseball team), the New York Hall of Science, the Queens Museum, the Queens Theatre in the Park, the Queens Zoo, and the New York State Pavilion. Flushing Meadows-Corona Park was created as the site of the 1939/1940 New York World's Fair, and also hosted the 1964/1965 New York World's Fair. The Unisphere is a spherical stainless steel representation of the Earth located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The sphere, 140 feet (43 m) high and 120 feet (37 m) in diameter, was commissioned for the 1964 New York World's Fair.

The scene was filmed at The Queens Museum, formerly the Queens Museum of Art, is an art museum and educational center located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park in Queens, New York City. The museum is housed in the New York City Building, which was built for the 1939 New York World's Fair and housed the United Nations General Assembly from 1946 to 1950. The museum itself was founded in 1972. The most famous permanent exhibition of the Queens Museum is the "Panorama of the City of New York," commissioned by Robert Moses for the 1964 World's Fair. This architectural model, covering 9,335 square feet (867.2 m2), includes every building constructed before 1992 in all five boroughs of the city, at a scale of 1 inch = 100 feet (1:1200). The Panorama was built by a team of 100 people.
