In 2010, a British game store decided to test if anyone actually reads their rules.
They added a clause to the boring agreement text: "By placing an order, you grant us the irrevocable right to own your immortal soul. We may claim it at any time, notifying you with fiery letters 6 feet high."
In the end, all 7,500 customers checked the consent box.
The funniest part is that the same text also mentioned keeping your soul and getting a £5 discount if you unchecked it.
People were so eager to buy the game that they gave up money and voluntarily signed a legal pact with the devil 😈
