Should you go to Hainan in summer🤔

We took the risk of going to Hainan in the "off-season", i.e. summer, and…
• the sea was rough, the beach was closed a couple of times, but the water was warm and clean,
• there were short rains, overall very humid, but tolerable,
• lots of delicious fruits (if you go, look for the "Pineapple" shopping center, there is a bigger selection and lower prices than at the local market).

And tour prices in summer are lower than in the season, which starts in November. So, with some nuances, a vacation in Hainan in summer is a good way to save money and see a different Asia.
