The new horror film from A24 about liminal spaces, "Backrooms Reality," can be engaging in principle if you enjoy low-budget, atmospheric walking simulators through deserted, eerie corridors. But it can hardly be considered a masterpiece, though it's certainly not a complete failure either (judging by the film's box office, fan base, and its amazing word-of-mouth).
