So, for the sake of experiment, yesterday evening I removed the water bottle and feeders from the rabbit selected for slaughter, expecting the intestines to be less full

Today before slaughter, I weighed the rabbit and the scale showed 3.800
Honestly, it disappointed me because at 4.5 months this is very little

But the carcass with offal weighed 2.300 kg.

Using Alice from my phone, I calculated the slaughter yield and it came out to 60%
And if I had learned to leave the flesh side on the carcass, I would have achieved the maximum slaughter yield of 62%

Now I understand that my approach to rabbit keeping is fine, I just slaughtered them when they were full, so I thought that there must be mythical rabbits somewhere in nature with a slaughter yield of 62% and I still had to find them.
It turns out that I already have all this, and for a long time!
