Oh guys, do you know how many new UGC platforms I've seen launched recently? A LOT! I think it's time to talk about them.

So, let's take as the starting point of our "events" for this post roughly the moment when vc "deflated". Well, when it introduced a paid subscription and basically destroyed free expression, leaving only guys with money. Then the repost mechanic from Telegram was tweaked... where it turned out you need to have a certain channel to get in. (I wasn't accepted because I have "too many links in posts").

So, around those days, the idea began to brew in people's minds that they needed their own vc. Some managed to use Adpass, some Sostav, some DTF, some wrote a couple of articles on Workspace... Well, in short, it wasn't enough, and they wanted something new.

By the way, it seems to me now that there are no readers left on vc either. I don't know a single person who seriously visits the site and watches the news there. And if you go to the comments, only liberal bots are there. Worse than Pikabu, I swear. I haven't unsubscribed from the TG channel and still read something. But I haven't visited the site for a long time.

And now, we've finally lived to see it. I don't even know what to call it. The race of UGC projects!

Of course, among my personal favorites, I'll highlight my friends' projects: tambur.pub and to-pick.ru. Come in, publish your articles there, good platforms and good guys are making them.
And I especially like that they are still a bit different. Each one leans its positioning in its own direction.

It turns out there are a huge number of platforms! I'm even surprised how many! I won't give any more links, unless they themselves come to the comments and give a link to themselves — I don't forbid that.

In short, it's interesting that suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere, a race and a whole crowd forms. Now as an author, I don't know where to publish my materials. Which platform to choose as the main one?

I will, of course, publish on all of them. The rest they will have to figure out themselves, and some of them will eventually die, and some will remain. Maybe one, maybe two. Or maybe there will be a whole bunch of them. Time will tell, it's interesting to watch.

And you know what? I also think this whole race is connected to the hype around GEO. Like everyone is striving to get into neural network answers, but on vc it's closed.
