▶️ Huawei smartwatches may soon get support for a new Android messenger — Telegram! The developer of the chat application has announced a special version of the app for wearable devices, compatible not only with watchOS and WearOS but also with other platforms.

▶️ On June 11, Telegram published a blog post confirming the launch of the app version for Apple Watch. Now the app can be used directly on the wearable device, instead of switching between phones, tablets, or the PC version.

▶️ According to official data, the new Telegram app may also support HUAWEI smartwatches. However, users of the relevant devices need to take certain steps for this.

▶️ "If you are using a Huawei watch and cannot run the Wear OS app, please ask politely — our developers will create an app for you as well. If you are using something truly exotic, watch this video or create your own app."

▶️ Developers using Huawei smartwatches or any other wearable devices running an OS other than WearOS or watchOS need to create their own version of the Telegram app. They can follow the link above and choose one of three API types: Bot, TDLib, and Gateway.

▶️ TDLib, or Telegram Database Library, is an ideal tool for creating your own version of the Telegram app. It is designed for third-party developers and allows you to easily create fast, secure, and feature-rich applications with many new features and customization options.

▶️ This API supports all Telegram features and simplifies app development for any platform. Whether it's Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux, or any other system — the open source code is compatible with all programming languages.
