Tamar (Niv Sultan) is back in the game, where every step could be her last, and trust is a luxury. The new season consists of eight episodes and promises even more tension, intrigue, and those moments when you want to scream at the screen: "Don't do it!" Joining the main cast — Shaun Toub, Shila Ommi — is none other than Hugh Laurie, which already sounds like a guarantee of quality.
On January 14, the second season returns. Idris Elba is back as Sam Nelson, a corporate negotiator who attracts crises like a magnet. On March 18, one of the most anticipated projects of the year starts — Imperfect Women starring Elisabeth Moss, Kerry Washington, and Kate Mara. The eight-episode psychological thriller based on the novel by Araminta Hall explores how one crime shatters the long-standing friendship of three women.
The series promises to be more than just another detective story. It's a story about guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises that irreversibly change lives. As the investigation unfolds, the truth emerges that even the closest relationships may not be what they seem. Series creator Annie Weisman (author of "Physical") serves as showrunner, and the first episode is directed by Lesli Linka Glatter, director of "Homeland" and "Love & Death." Given that both stars — Moss and Washington — are not only acting but also producing the project, the stakes are clearly high.
The premiere kicks off with two episodes, then new episodes will be released weekly until April 29.
April-June: Suburbs Full of Secrets
On April 3, Your Friends and Neighbors returns starring Jon Hamm. The first season showed what happens when an ordinary suburbanite starts robbing his neighbors. The second season adds James Marsden to the cast and promises even more tension — the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to expose all of Hamm's character's secrets. The series will run until June 5, when the season two finale airs.
On April 15, Margo's Got Money Troubles debuts — a bold family dramedy from A24 and David E. Kelley. Elle Fanning plays 20-year-old Margo, who dropped out of college, dreams of becoming a writer, and suddenly finds herself pregnant by her professor.
With a newborn baby, a growing pile of bills, and impending eviction, Margo makes a desperate decision — she starts an OnlyFans under the handle Hungry Ghost. At the most inconvenient (or most convenient?) moment, her father appears on the doorstep — a former professional wrestler played by Nick Offerman. Margo's mother, a former waitress, is played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
The series is based on the bestseller by Rufi Thorpe and promises to be bold, warm, and funny all at once. The cast also includes Nicole Kidman (who serves as executive producer), Marcia Gay Harden, and Greg Kinnear. Given David E. Kelley's track record ("Big Little Lies," "Love & Death"), this won't be a superficial comedy about financial troubles — rather, an honest and uncomfortable conversation about modern survival methods.
Eight episodes will be released on Wednesdays until May 20, starting with three episodes at once.
On April 29, Apple launches Widow's Bay — a 10-episode horror comedy starring Matthew Rhys ("The Americans," "Perry Mason"). Rhys plays the mayor of a quiet island town located 40 miles off the coast of New England. But this picturesque place has a big and, judging by the genre, quite dark secret.
The project was created by Katie Dippold, a writer for "Parks and Recreation," and directed by Hiro Murai — the man who gave us the visual style of "Atlanta" and Childish Gambino's music videos. If "This Is America" and the invisible car episode from "Atlanta" say anything about his directorial style, "Widow's Bay" will definitely not be a typical horror.
The cast also includes Kate O'Flynn and veteran character actor Stephen Root. The series will be released weekly until June 17, starting with three episodes.
Second Half of 2026: Long-Awaited Returns
In the second half of the year, Apple is preparing a real bombshell — the fourth season of Ted Lasso. Filming is already underway, and all key actors are returning: Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift. Apple is targeting a mid-to-late 2026 release, so fans of the optimistic coach will finally find out how the story of AFC Richmond ends and what the women's football team has to do with it.
Bonus: Projects Without Exact Dates

Way of the Warrior Kid — an adaptation of the children's book by Jocko Willink, a former military man turned popular motivational speaker and author. Chris Pratt will play Uncle Jake, an elite Navy SEAL who, after an injury on a mission, moves in with his sister for rehabilitation.
Discovering that his 11-year-old nephew Mark (Jude Hill) is being bullied, can't do a single pull-up, and is failing in school, Jake decides to use his training methods to help the boy find inner strength over three summer months. Directed by McG ("Charlie's Angels"), the cast also includes Linda Cardellini as Mark's mother.
Skydance and Apple paid $80-85 million for the project — one of the biggest deals since "Emancipation" in 2020. Pratt is personally invested in the project, calling it a film "for the generation" that can stand alongside "The Karate Kid" and "Rocky." According to him, it's a story about "healthy masculinity" that is lacking in modern pop culture.
The biopic Tenzing from director Jennifer Peedom ("Rivers") will tell the inspiring story of Sherpa Tenzing Norgay and his historic ascent of Everest in 1953 alongside New Zealand mountaineer Edmund Hillary. Tom Hiddleston will play Hillary, Willem Dafoe will play the leader of the British expedition, Colonel John Hunt, and Genden Puntsok has been chosen to play Tenzing Norgay.
Apple acquired the rights to the project at the Cannes market in 2024. The film is produced by Oscar-winning See-Saw Films ("The King's Speech"), with a budget estimated at $25 million. According to insiders, it's more of a deep character study than an adventure blockbuster, though the climbing scenes will be in the film.
Filming began in spring 2025, so a 2026 release is quite realistic.
Director of "CODA" Siân Heder returns with the biographical drama Being Heumann based on the memoirs of activist Judy Heumann. The film will tell the story of the legendary 28-day occupation of the Federal Building in San Francisco in 1977, when over a hundred people with disabilities, led by Heumann, demanded the passage of accessibility laws.
Mark Ruffalo will play Health Secretary Joseph Califano, and British actress Ruth Madeley will play Judy Heumann herself. The cast also includes Dylan O'Brien and Rob Delaney. The script is written by Heder and Rebecca Taussig, produced by Kevin Walsh, whose company Walsh Company works with Apple under an exclusive contract.

Ben Stiller returns to sports comedies with the film The Dink about pickleball — a trendy hybrid of tennis and table tennis. Jake Johnson plays a washed-up tennis player who is forced to break a vow and play the hated pickleball to save a club from bankruptcy and earn his father's respect.
Directed by Josh Greenbaum ("New Girl"), script by Sean Clements ("Ash vs Evil Dead"). The cast includes Mary Steenburgen, Ed Harris, Chloe Fineman, and tennis legends Andy Roddick and John McEnroe. Stiller not only produces through Red Hour Films but also appears in one of the roles.
The film is already in post-production, making a 2026 release almost guaranteed. For Apple, this is a reunion with Stiller after the incredible success of "Severance."
