with the tireless Tom Hardy, where there is a lot of artificial stuff: decaliters of fake blood splashing in fountains onto the screen, artificial snow and artificial darkness. Only Hardy is real — as always powerful, breaking through with charisma and silent. In the film, the guns mostly "speak" for him, firing often and loudly. The polyphony of gunshots is generally the main mediator here, and on the big screen it would have looked much more impressive. There are a couple of really well-shot scenes with a fiery greeting to John Woo's "Hard Boiled." A slightly flashy but quite palatable movie.

A fun and adrenaline-fueled action movie about an office clerk who suddenly becomes a real problem for the bad guys because he doesn't feel pain — meaning he can easily withstand a ton of punches to the face and not notice sharp objects in his body. The lead role in the new action film by debutants Dan Berk and Robert Olsen is played by Jack Quaid (), as if born for the role of a nice guy secretly in love with a new employee at his office. The film's conclusion is maximally simple and ironic: when you endure emergencies and deadlines for years, even the most hardened bandits are no problem.

From serious to funny — just one step. Actor Josh Hartnett continues to try himself in various and often polar genres. Without having time to take off the mask of a dangerous maniac from , the artist transforms into a careless and drinking CIA agent searching for a dangerous hacker on board a plane flying from Bangkok to San Francisco. The film, incorporating elements of "Bullet Train" and "Train to Busan," nevertheless retains its own style. And Hartnett, with bleached hair and an eccentric look in an ill-fitting pajama, once again proves that it's not the place that makes the man, but the man the place.

The action genre definitely suits British actress Daisy Ridley. with her participation tries to rethink the "Die Hard" formula, moving the action to a London skyscraper, where the heroine single-handedly confronts a gang of thugs who don't even have unity in their own ranks. In the action scenes, Ridley is flawless — every punch and jump looks organic. It's a pity that the weak script and disjointed plot cut her efforts short. A decent way to kill an evening, but only if you're a hot fan of the actress.

The first half — with notes read through binoculars, Ramones songs, and a romantic dinner to the roar of monsters — turned out to be the most interesting. The second, given over to sluggish action in the spirit of a second-rate game, ruins everything. But for the naive idea that love can still save humanity on the brink of the abyss, the director can be thanked.
