On the online platform Okko, starting April 3, the fantastic detective thriller 'Hypnosis' with an intriguing plot is released. We analyze the first two episodes and the characters of this unusual project.

The first scene of 'Hypnosis' opens with a mysterious girl holding a bright lollipop. Actress Anastasia Kuimova embodies in her character a collective female image that attracts men, and a devilish creature capable of suggesting anything to anyone. Her character Leah is a charming antagonist whose motivation is yet to be revealed.

As the plot progresses, we meet other central characters who also have superpowers. Lawyer Orekhov (Rostislav Bershaurer), who sees the future through tactile contact with another person, has never lost a case. Private detective Belozerov (Daniil Strakhov), who can read minds through eye contact, also solves all his investigations. Father Grigory (Kirill Kyaro) sees the past when he touches a person, including the past of the deceased. A large stream of the needy flock to him so that Grigory can guide them on the true path.

This creates an interesting trio of friends who together try to find out who is behind the mysterious murders, thefts, and other very strange affairs. Where each of them got such an incredible gift, and how they came to what is happening now, is yet to be discovered.

In the first episode, we get to know each of the heroes, and it immediately becomes clear that the world of 'Hypnosis' is meticulously crafted, as are the characters. Each has their own unique storyline that fully reveals the portraits of the heroes. The secondary characters are also not devoid of personality, and it's great that they resemble real people rather than functions that merely drive the plot.

Father Grigory could deservedly become the audience's favorite in this trio, as he tries to use his gift exclusively for good. Already in the second episode, there will be a very touching moment involving this character. However, he also has his dark sides. He reluctantly agrees to violate his own principles. It's interesting to watch.

Belozerov and Orekhov are superheroes who prefer to use their abilities for their own benefit, which is also not bad. All three will have to find the mysterious avenger who will stop at nothing to achieve his goal.

It is also worth noting that 'Hypnosis' is shot in a dark style, which undoubtedly gives the series a certain charm. It is not as heavy as, for example, 'Alice's Dreams', but it maintains the intrigue.

In Russian serial cinema, there are not many projects on a similar theme, but they all try to stand out, and 'Hypnosis' does not yield in this regard, and quite successfully.
