"The Boys"

Superheroes, whom the whole world worships, turn out to be toxic celebrities backed by an unscrupulous corporation. The Boys roasts the theme of superpowers and shows us that if a hero breaks not only criminals' jaws but also moral standards, problems become, let's say, global.

"Good Omens"

"The Expanse"

"The Man in the High Castle"

An alternate history where the Allies did not win World War II, but Nazi Germany and Japan did. In the devastated USA, an underground resistance emerges, and mysterious films showing "our" reality come into play.

Why it's interesting: a captivating dystopia based on the novel by Philip K. Dick. It raises questions of freedom, resistance to totalitarianism, and the fate of alternate realities.

"Undone"

An animated/live-action series (rotoscoping) where the main character, after an accident, begins to see her father, who died under mysterious circumstances. Reality and hallucinations become indistinguishable, and time and space seem to stretch.

Why it's interesting: still an unusual visual presentation, and the plot touches on themes of mental health, family, and secrets of the past. The show mixes drama, science fiction, and philosophy, offering a unique viewing experience.

"Gen V"

We return to "The Boys" universe – but now the focus is on the younger generation of superheroes studying at a special university under the watch of the Vought corporation. Here, exams can be far deadlier than during a regular session, and friendship quickly turns into competition for ratings and contracts.

Why it's interesting: it's the same biting satire as in the original: blood, unexpected twists, and ruthless criticism of media culture. Plus, it's nice to see how the The Boys universe expands and gains new details.
