If you've ever wondered where iconic scenes from your favorite movies were filmed or wanted to walk in the footsteps of characters, the website WhereFilmed.org will satisfy your curiosity. This online project, which has been collecting filming locations for movies, TV series, and music videos since 2022, is launching a new, more user-friendly version of the site.

Over three years of work, the WhereFilmed team has collected over 13,500 locations from 2,800 films worldwide. Now, movie enthusiasts, travelers, and even professional location managers can find the exact filming location (with GPS coordinates), learn which scenes were shot there, and see photos and film stills with descriptions.

What's New?

The relaunch of the site includes a design update, improved usability, and enhanced speed and performance. But that's not all. Now WhereFilmed.org is focusing on building a community of contributors. Users will be able to:

• Submit their suggestions and corrections for existing locations;
• Upload new data about filming locations for popular movies and TV series, while creators of short films and music videos can add information about their work to gain more exposure;
