On KION for Valentine's Day, the almanac «Caution - Love» was released. The heroes of five short films reflect on what love is.

Love is indeed a complex substance, and the answer to the question «What is it?» stumps not only the characters of short stories. In real life, it is just as difficult to give a quick and unambiguous answer. The circumstances of «here and now», life experience, examples of friends and relatives, patterns from movies — a lot influences our perception of the concept of «love».

Who's in charge?

Here is an older man and a young student. She likes how he tells her what to do. But their meetings are more like addiction and even obsession. After all, he makes it clear with all his appearance that she is just a fleeting infatuation for him and nothing more. But the student's eyes are clouded by emotions and feelings, and she continues to come to him «to bow». Or perhaps this is her first man in bed, and she does not know how to behave in such a situation. She has no examples or patterns. Perhaps for her, sex equals love for life. The ending of the short film «The Fly» will give an answer to the student, but not to the man.

Music bound us

A pair of musicians also tries to figure out the question «What is love?». She is a violinist, he is an oboist, they live together, sparks don't fly. The girl decides to rekindle the flame with role-playing games. Having thoroughly prepared, the violinist waits for her boyfriend in a hotel room. But a doctor longing for his wife accidentally drops by. Friends decided to help with his longing and arranged a meeting with a special lady, but at the reception everything got mixed up, and the collision turned into an interesting experience for both participants. How to behave in such a delicate situation, only the heroes of the short story «Play on Me» can understand.

What if... ?

He is an actor, she is an influential blogger. She is married, he frivolously runs from one nymphet to another. A relationship without obligations suits both. But what if they had a big house where they lived with their two children? Both may want this, but at different time intervals of their partnership. First, one falls in love, breaking the rule, and hides their feelings. And after a while, when the first has already overcome themselves, the second decides that they are ready to move into the phase of «serious relationships». In the short film «Interview» they jump from «marry me» to «keep your distance». And they just can't meet at the same point.

The heroes of the short stories «Caution - Love» are incredibly realistic. And the plots seem to be copied from our lives. With the only difference that the ending of the film can be rewritten in a major key.
