On October 26 in Moscow at the Khudozhestvenny cinema, the social premiere of the documentary series "Live Your Best Life" took place. Read about the first two episodes in our article.

The Samolet group of companies builds not only houses and apartments for a better life, but also its internal empire for creating cool and useful content. Thus, the explainer almanac "Live Your Best Life" was born, which explores the changes that have occurred in five main areas of life over the past 20 years. Five young directors shared their views on these changes and how they have affected people living in modern cities.

The first series of the almanac, titled "Me Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", is dedicated to philosophical conversations and reflections of various people who have achieved certain success and are ready to share their experience and knowledge, as well as their views on basic things, including the role of education in a person's life, so that each viewer can note something important for themselves and start or continue living their best life.

In the director's chair is documentary filmmaker Mila Vybornykh. She managed to show the essence of each hero and the only heroine of the series, entrepreneur, blogger and DJ Ksenia Dukalis. The conversations turned out to be fascinating, more like several short interviews that are difficult to fit into the framework of a web series where the runtime, unfortunately, is short. Nevertheless, it's great that viewers have the opportunity to meet new faces, or take a fresh look at familiar ones.

"Education is not for new knowledge, but for inspiration", says Alexander Legchakov, artistic director of the Moscow Opera House, and in general, a real one-man band: author and creator of the hip-hopera "Cops on Fire", director of immersive operas "The Queen of Spades" and "Iolanta", candidate of economic sciences, teacher and frontman of the groups "VSIGME", "Traditsiya", Canicool. It's hard to disagree with Alexander, especially for those whose lives are saturated with creativity. And every frame is saturated with it, combining strict geometry, bright colors, beauty and color contrasts.

The series "Exit to the Open City", directed by Sergei Pavlov, shows urbanism and centers of attraction in modern cities from an unusual angle. For example, did you know that anyone can engage in landscaping almost any public space in Moscow if it doesn't bother anyone? You've probably heard about "Mutabor", mostly negative reviews? But interesting performances take place there and talented DJs and contemporary artists perform.

Moscow, of course, attracts a large number of very different people, but in other big cities there are places worth paying attention to. Not only for entertainment, but also for living. You just have to go out into the "Open City" — and you almost immediately realize that you should look at it a little differently, and it will open up to you from an unexpected side. Just like a person. The second series of the almanac works exactly like that — Pavlov and his team managed to see and reveal the big city in a new way.
