A nominee of the Venice Film Festival, a bloody action film from the director of "Game of Thrones", and other exclusive June premieres on the channel "Kinopremiera" in a traditional review of TV novelties.

"Set the Mood for Cinema!" presents exclusive movie novelties that will be shown for the first time on Russian TV in June on the channel "Kinopremiera".

June 7 — "The Spy Who Never Was"

A thriller based on real events about a con artist-seducer who pretends to be an agent of British counterintelligence MI5. Starring James Norton ("Little Women") and Gemma Arterton ("Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time").

June 14 — "Extra Lesson"

A socially acute drama starring Yulia Alexandrova ("The Very Best Day") and Kirill Kyaro (TV series "Epidemic"). A policewoman prevents a terrorist attack by killing a college student. She claims he had a sawed-off shotgun, but no weapon is found at the scene. The only one who believes her version of events is a court-appointed lawyer.

June 21 — "Atlantis"

A film nominated at the Venice Film Festival. A beautiful art drama about youth amidst the noise of night boat races. The protagonist Daniele dreams of making it big, but all his efforts yield the opposite result.

June 28 — "The Lair"

A bloody sci-fi action film from the director of "Game of Thrones" and "Westworld" Neil Marshall. A US Air Force pilot, shot down by rebels in Afghanistan, hides in an abandoned underground bunker. Soon she realizes the bunker harbors a deadly threat.
