
At the opening of the documentary film festival "Docker", the Russian-Portuguese film "Red Africa" will be shown — an unexpected historical epic about the paradoxical thirty-year friendship between the black continent and the USSR. After the screening, a meeting with the author.

Also among the first screenings:
August 16: "Soldier Akhmet" (Austria) — an intrepid military man, a former champion boxer, decides to become a stage star.
August 17: "Jason" (Netherlands) — a painfully honest story of a young man trying to overcome past traumas by helping others.
August 18: "Pati's Journey" (Mexico) — the story of a woman from the Huichol people fighting for the future of women in her community.
August 19: "AI: Artificial Immortality" (Canada) — a frightening and mesmerizing essay on the vectors of development of bio- and robotics.
August 20: "Alive" (Main Competition) — the film's hero uses sculptures to resurrect the memory of fallen soldiers of World War II. Meeting with the author Konstantin Selin.
In total, "Docker" will show 70 films from 25 countries — these are winners and participants of world film festivals in 2021-2022. All screenings will be accompanied by discussions with their authors and invited speakers.
The festival consists of the Main Competition and the Short Film Competition, the mental health program "Doc Therapy", the world's only competitive film program about IT technologies, and a section for children and family viewing.
