We already know Vecna attacks children with unresolved trauma. But how does he find them? Fans think the school counselor might be involved. She held sessions with all the victims and clearly described their conditions, yet did nothing about it (just like in every school show). Suspicion also falls on her key-shaped clock necklace. Coincidence? We think not.

We've seen a clip of him playing guitar in the Upside Down. Music is the key to avoiding death. So, maybe Eddie will save Nancy or even Steve that way. Such a heroic end could explain the new character's significance.

Will Steve Die?

If Marvel taught us anything, it's that any hero can die in the finale. By genre rules, it could be the fan-favorite character. Steve has had an incredible character arc. Plus, he might be involved in saving Nancy's life, which would wrap up their story.
