January 19 — 'Free Guy'

of the past year. A spectacular production project by Ryan Reynolds ('Deadpool'). He also stars as the charming bank clerk who discovers he is a non-player character in a video game. The eccentric villain is played by Taika Waititi, director of 'Jojo Rabbit' and 'Thor: Ragnarok'.

January 26 — 'The Ice Road'

A gritty action thriller starring Liam Neeson ('Schindler's List', 'Taken' trilogy) from the screenwriter of 'Armageddon', Jonathan Hensleigh. A convoy of trucks attempts to rescue 26 miners trapped in a collapsed diamond mine. But the only route to safety is across the thin April ice of a large lake.
