The series “Loki” shows every week how attractive characters can hold viewers’ attention despite a stagnant plot. We still haven’t moved from the dead point of the Marvel universe, haven’t gotten many answers, but watching the characters remains fascinating, especially after the 5th episode of the show. We were shown many variants of Loki, paying tribute to comics you might not have guessed. But we still can’t shake the feeling that over 5 episodes of the show, nothing substantial happened. And the final impression will depend on the finale. Let’s figure out which questions we’d like answered.

Who runs the TVA?

So, we still haven’t ruled out theories that Kang the Conqueror is in charge. But perhaps it’s worth stepping away from theories that never panned out in “WandaVision” and thinking about other main villains. We were right in our review that the TVA is not as simple and benevolent an organization as it seemed in the first episode. And you still find Miss Minutes suspicious, right? In the same pile, we put the theory that another variant of Loki controls the timeline itself. But who said we’ve completely ruled out Mephisto theories in Marvel projects? And to be thorough, let’s add the theory about Ravonna, who is the head of the entire organization and acts independently.

What’s between Loki and Sylvie?

No matter how much fans shout about wanting to introduce Loki’s love interest, the studio did the opposite. We clearly see a certain infatuation from Loki toward his alternate version. There’s even something poetic about him being able to love only himself. But where such reflections lead, we don’t know for sure. And what will happen after the series finale with the two characters, especially Sylvie, who has caught fans’ eyes. For now, their relationship balances between romantic dialogues against apocalyptic backdrops and platonic friendship.

What will happen to the Sacred Timeline if the TVA is destroyed?

Have you already answered? Naturally, the multiverse will appear. Infinite variants, infinite Lokis, infinite sequels. Destroying the timeline breaks all rules, unleashing chaos. The finale of “Loki” should give a clear answer about what will happen in Phase Four. It will be possible to weave different characters from the cinematic universe, easily introduce the Fantastic Four and the X-Men, and maybe even the three Spider-Men everyone is waiting for. But that seems unlikely.

Who created the timelines or the time stream?

Let’s start with the fact that the TVA tries to control different streams of the multiverse. At least, that’s what they claim. But who created these timelines? We were led to believe that godlike beings from space control everything. But we’ve already learned they’re just androids (remember Falcon’s theory about the big three?). We haven’t even gotten a hint of an answer, so we expect the finale to provide one.

Whose castle is this?

In the finale of episode 5, we see a castle or a huge estate, but who is hiding inside? Most fans agree it’s the castle of Kang the Conqueror, who will be introduced in a future Ant-Man film. Moreover, Kang in the comics is connected to a certain cloud or entity that we’ve already seen in episode 5.

What if it’s not a castle but a prison? And Kang is accidentally freed from it by Sylvie and Loki. Perhaps the TVA’s void was containing the main villain of the show inside, preventing him from influencing the flow of time across the galaxy.

It could also be Doom’s castle. Yes, that one from the Fantastic Four. And why not? After all, a new film about the beloved comic book heroes is on the horizon. But we were similarly disappointed by the unconfirmed theory about the mysterious cosmic engineer, Monica Rambeau’s friend. Everyone was betting on Reed Richards then. By the way, we never got an answer. If anyone would be locked away in time and space, it would be Doctor Doom.

What is the end of the world?

The theme of the apocalypse has been raised several times in the series, starting from the first episode. Is the Void shown in the fifth episode the final point of the universe? What is the nature of this space? Is it a separate reality? The entire new concept of Loki is interesting enough to discuss, but none of the episodes give us an answer.

Has Loki really changed?

We see that in the series, Loki resists his worst instincts. And his worst character traits only manifested in his numerous variants. Has the 2012 version of Loki evolved, changed? And he has ceased to be an antagonist. It would be interesting to see this character struggle, forced to make a difficult decision or determine his own fate when faced with a choice. Will he abandon his tactics of manipulation and deceit? Will he betray someone else for his own gain?

What is Sylvie’s nexus event?

The event that caused TVA agents to come for Sylvie remains a mystery. We learned that Kid Loki killed Thor, and Classic Loki survived the Infinity War. But why did Ravonna take Sylvie as a child? This was mentioned in episode 4, but the mysterious answer that Ravonna doesn’t remember is not accepted by fans. There’s too much attention in the show to this episode.

Will Mobius ride a jet ski?

Definitely, yes. Marvel simply must show this. I don’t know what the magic of this character is, but Owen Wilson has certainly won over fans.

Will there be a spin-off about Alligator Loki?

Well, if not, then I don’t know why we needed this series.
