The new episode of WandaVision plunges us into the sitcoms of the 2010s, letting us enjoy the 'talking heads.' As Wanda's powers are pushed to their limits, she slowly loses control of reality, causing glitches in the matrix. The twins are worried about their mom's condition: they need answers that Wanda can't give. And Vision is trying to get to town for a heart-to-heart talk. But let's take it one step at a time.

Previously on WandaVision
Why did I only notice this in the seventh episode? Wanda's voice gets sadder from episode to episode, especially noticeable in the new one. And after rewatching the beginning of each episode, I clearly heard how her voice gradually changes from cheerful.
References We Understood
Finally, regular Russian-speaking fans caught on to the episode's filming style. From the opening credits reminiscent of 'The Office' and 'Happy Endings,' to the talking-head interviews like 'Modern Family.'
I'll especially highlight Vision and his 'Jim' look — it's just perfect. And the car scene with all those obstacles reminded me of 'The Truman Show,' where he was driving down the road.
Games Going Crazy
Billy and Tommy's video games beautifully reflect the era, showing how controllers and joysticks changed. Even Uno cards made it into this reality. They ended up with a Nintendo Wii accessory — pretty neat.
Missing Children
This question has been on many fans' minds ever since the release of set photos from the new Spider-Man. And after the mention of the absence of children in the town of Westview. Also, remember that strange 'Missing' image on the milk carton? What happened to the children? Is it possible that some children simply didn't return after the Snap?
Stan Lee
I think all fans are waiting for references to the creator of the universe. And here, one Reddit user noticed the first Easter egg: the license plate 122822. That's the birth date of the great Stan Lee. Catch this 'golden nugget' of all Easter eggs, because I haven't seen this in any other episode review.
The Number 10
Fans' heads are so filled with information for a week that we see references everywhere. For example, how about this? What's that strange number '10' highlighted on the calendar with a heart? Does this confirm the rumor that 'WandaVision' will have 10 episodes instead of 9?
He's Not Your Uncle
Wanda changed her mind about the new 'Pietro' after their little skirmish last week. And he is conspicuously absent throughout the entire episode. He's no longer a family member.
Skrulls
What if Hayward and the soldiers constantly accompanying him are Skrulls? How about that? But he could also just be a regular nasty military director who wanted to restore Vision or rebuild Ultron for his own purposes.
Space Truck
The ride is cool, of course. But they never showed us the mysterious aerospace engineer they borrowed it from. I think they're saving that for later. Plus, a reference for the smart ones: when Monica enters the code on the top panel, numbers light up. If you display them and do something else, you get a hexagon (let's just believe it).
Circus Performers
I'm still laughing at the fact that the circus performers are S.W.O.R.D. agents. But there are a few strange details in this scene without answers. For example, when Darcy punches the strongman in the nose, we clearly hear the sound of hitting metal. Could this be a hint at mutants, suggesting the circus performers have already changed somehow? What do you think?
Commercial
And our favorite — a new commercial. First, a wonderful detail when the girl lies down on the bed and then walks — the shot is just super, in TikTok style. Second, pay attention to the words in the ad. There's no hidden meaning here — it's all simple and clear. But, attention: 'Ask your Doctor to prescribe Nexus.' Do you know any other Doctor besides Strange who could solve a problem of this magnitude? And let's reinforce the creepy phrase: 'Do not take if your doctor has not allowed you to continue living.'
Third, and most importantly. Nexus. What is it?
The first mentions of 'nexus' take us back to 'Thor: The Dark World' and Dr. Selvig. He wrote about it on his board. It's a kind of entry point to different worlds or a connection between all worlds. Through it, you can access other universes, and this is a huge hint at a full-fledged Marvel multiverse and preparation for Strange's sequel.
That's also when we were introduced to the Reality Stone. And the stone itself is red, and can control the illusion inside Wanda's world. Remember our theory that each commercial is a new Infinity Stone. And in episode 7, there were way too many hints about Wanda's mind. Now we have the full set. Did we collect them all? Yes. At what cost? At the cost of a sick imagination.

Last week, the twins developed abilities. And Billy seems to be a telepath, reading the thoughts of people around him. When Billy said Agnes was 'quiet,' she reacted ambiguously. As if she was surprised. And she wasn't wearing the brooch she wears throughout the episode and all other episodes. Until the moment she meets Wanda in the basement. I wonder why? Maybe the brooch is needed for protection from Wanda's magic?
Voiceover
So, in one scene, when Wanda is giving an interview, the voiceover answers her: 'Maybe you deserved it.' Wanda is surprised that the person wasn't supposed to speak at all. And then Agatha shows us that she was filming these little interviews. Some claim it was her voice, just in a different timbre. I listened again several times and I'll say — it doesn't sound like it. Perhaps this mysterious voiceover is the mysterious someone running the whole show.
Monica — Superhero or Mutant
One of the most beautiful and motivated transformations into a superheroine — Monica's becoming. Visually very striking, accompanied by dialogues from the movie 'Captain Marvel' and those wonderful blue eyes — everything looks beautiful. We don't yet fully know her abilities (I won't consider the comic book version), but from the series, it's clear that Monica Rambeau sees the force/energy field, streams, or everything that surrounds us when she activates her super-vision.
Interestingly, fans are still keeping afloat the theory that the abilities were already hidden inside Monica. As it happened with mutants. And there's also a long-standing theory that Wanda and Pietro actually had hidden abilities or a hidden gene, and the Infinity Stone simply awakened them. In this case, the theory also works for Monica — her abilities were awakened by Wanda's power.
The main thing in the episode — the superhero landing.
Vision and Darcy
Vision in this episode is the embodiment of all fans. He asks the right questions, and we also understand that his memory has been rewound or partially erased. After all, he remembers Wanda perfectly, and he also remembers the real Pietro. Perhaps all the manipulations were done in the S.W.O.R.D. lab. But let's not forget that he is something other than just a creation of the Mind Stone. And there's also J.A.R.V.I.S. — thanks for the mention in the episode.

The Fly
The creepy fly that got such a close-up is a reference to a demon, the devil. Not only in Marvel comics, but also in any other horror stories. A fly is an ill omen.
Beautiful Transition
I especially want to highlight the awesome transition of the image and frame borders when Wanda went down to the basement. First, it's the full-screen mode of 'Wanda's reality,' and then we enter normal reality. So, all this time, there was an entry and exit point from the energy field under Westview.
Hexagons!
Again. 'Hexes,' as English-speaking fans say, have been following us throughout all the episodes. And here they appeared in the witch's creepy basement — on the walls.
Magic Book
Here, fans have several theories at once. Let's start with the one I thought of while watching. I remembered the magic books in the library from Doctor Strange's collection. And that's exactly where they showed us that one book was missing. Also, all the books are inside hexagons!
Now let's move on to another theory — it's the Darkhold. And this could be very interesting. The downside of the theory is that the book looks completely different, and the series (where it appeared) is not yet part of the official MCU canon. The huge plus, however, is that the book is familiar to Marvel fans from the series 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,' where, according to the plot, it was taken by the Ghost Rider and sailed off somewhere to another planet, a portal, or to hell — unknown, but somewhere far from Earth.
The book itself glows orange, which is not Agatha's color (purple). Whatever powers the book, it's definitely not her. And usually in such stories, a magic book is a source of problems, a connection to the other world, and an opportunity to seal or hide something.
Mephisto — Nightmare — Chthon?
Do you remember how in the previous episode review I hinted at a new theory about Nightmare? Well, here's another theory! None other than Chthon is running the whole show. He's also a demon from the comics, quite omnipotent, who sealed his powers into a magic book! And after that, witches started using the book! Does that ring a bell? According to the comics, I'll tell you without spoilers, his story was also connected to the twins and Quicksilver.

She showed all her manipulations from behind the scenes of the show. But why? We're not dismissing the theory that Agatha is the main villain in 'WandaVision.'

Remember that hypnotizing phrase from the second episode? And remember my theory that it was Agnes who pushed Wanda to 'create' the children? Well, now we perfectly understand that Agatha only needed the children. To blackmail Wanda? Or to use their powers?

Of course, Agatha has her own song. And, honestly, it sounds great. It was stuck in my head for a couple of hours after watching.
I Killed Sparky!
We knew. We knew it, Agnes. Thanks for the info — Marvel's humor is on point. But fans have great jokes too, for example, everyone immediately remembered John Wick and flooded Twitter and YouTube comments with similar content:
Agatha: kills Sparky.
Keanu Reeves: gets a role in Marvel.
Post-Credits Scene
Fake Pietro — who are you? After the ambiguous post-credits scene, we were made to understand that we don't understand anything about this series. If at first everyone leaned towards the opinion that this was a beautiful move by Marvel using the actor, and Evan Peters is the villain, Mephisto, Nightmare, and so on. Now all theories could be shattered to dust.
So, we clearly see Agatha's magic over 'Pietro' during his first appearance. Either it's a red herring, or Pietro really did drop in from the 'X-Men' universe. And it's Peter under the witch's influence, as hinted by his appearance, abilities, outfit, and normal hair color in the post-credits scene. Or, again, it's just a clever use of the actor, and in reality, 'Pietro' is just her minion. But the theory that Evan Peters' character is running the show is still alive in our heads.
Another important point: why were Monica's eyes glowing purple in the scene, instead of her blue? Does that mean something? Is she already under a spell?
Whose Cameo Will Be in the Finale?
A question that thousands of fans around the world are thinking about. And the debates don't subside, and Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen only fuel them. What do we know? We know that someone will appear in the show's finale. We know that this 'someone' is a person Paul Bettany has long wanted to act with. We know that the cameo of 'someone' will be on the level of Luke Skywalker's cameo in 'The Mandalorian.' That's a high bar. And we also know that Paul Bettany said: 'It's not Doctor Strange.'
