Events in "WandaVision" are rapidly gaining momentum. We are shown more and more superpowers, important details, and abilities of Wanda that we never suspected.

Spoiler review! For those who have already watched the sixth episode.

Last week, besides the obvious kind Uncle Pietro and the creepy family Halloween celebration, we got answers to how much Vision is aware of what's happening, how S.W.O.R.D. got involved, and why brother and sister don't understand each other.

And American viewers, as a bonus to all this goodness, got to enjoy how meticulously the episode once again copies the style of old beloved sitcoms. We can't understand that, unfortunately. But the writers skillfully lead all fans by the nose, scattering references and hints throughout the episode so that we see hidden meaning in everything (even where there is none).

Twins with Abilities

After the episode with rapid aging, the twins move to the next stage—they gain their powers. It's great that Marvel followed the comics path and gave the twins the same abilities they had in canon. We still don't understand or know how Wanda created these children. But their powers are quite real: speed (like Pietro) and telepathy (like Wanda).

Who Are You—Evan Peters?

Marvel mocks the viewer by showing the death of the real brother again at the beginning of the episode. It's as if they are telling us outright: "Guys, look, these are different people." In episode 6, Evan Peters' character is maximally cool, memorable, and trying to please everyone, especially the twins. Such an "ideal uncle." At the same time, he never once answered Wanda's question about childhood or the real world, evading or making up answers in the style of "Where's your accent?"

Tattoo. Many viewers pay attention to small details like paintings, inscriptions, any numbers, and in this episode, viewers noticed a tattoo with the text "MOM." But I hasten to reassure fans, this is a real tattoo of actor Evan Peters. And it has nothing to do with the events of the series.

Also, "Pietro" makes it clear that he knows about Wanda's power and what she is doing to the town, reminding her that Vision is dead. And his "devilish" phrases are alarming.

Dance Dance Revolution and Minecraft

More fun references to the god of references! At the beginning of the episode, the twins play one of the earliest versions of Dance Dance Revolution, and on one of the brothers' hats is the emblem of the popular game Minecraft.

Halloween Costumes

Wanda, the twins, Vision, and Pietro—in this episode, everyone appeared in canonical costumes from the comics. The clothing details and even hairstyles were almost completely replicated.

And another interesting moment with a replaced childhood memory—no, it's not Natasha and Fury, although their images are very similar. Of course, we don't know for sure how truthful this memory is. But if "some evil" is just mocking Wanda, then maybe it repeated the images of known heroes for fun.

Wanda

The charming Elizabeth Olsen gets more beautiful and wonderful with each episode. And Wanda once again confirms that she doesn't remember how it all started and who is controlling it. She has already said that she is not responsible for all the residents, does not control everyone. And, most likely, her mind is also partially blocked or confused.

S.W.O.R.D.—Villains?

Now we know that S.W.O.R.D. conducted experiments on Vision. The project is classified, meaning it's likely military. And the name is interesting—Cataract. We assume they wanted to use him as a weapon. After all, being a government agency created to monitor "sentient weapons," similar people wanted to get Ultron. And they also collected data on Monica Rambeau in a separate folder.

If you remember how Darcy called S.W.O.R.D. and everything happening a circus in the fourth episode, you'll definitely appreciate the moment when agents turn into circus performers.

Kick-Ass

Fans are still tormented by the fact that Evan Peters and Aaron Taylor-Johnson essentially played the same comic book character. But both actors also starred in the wonderful film "Kick-Ass," which Wanda so sweetly mentioned with one phrase in the episode.

Herb

Remember that in the early episodes, Agent Jimmy Woo mentioned that there is a person in the town he is looking for. A person who is under the witness protection program. But we were never told who it is. Maybe Herb? He still behaves too strangely, and for some reason, emphasis is placed on him. For example, why was he talking to someone on the radio?

New Commercial

Another commercial—another mystery. And here, it seems, they show us more of the present and near future, rather than Wanda's past. So, the island is Westview. Wanda is the person trying to keep Vision alive. The shark (potentially Evan Peters) gives the person a magical yogurt, but the yogurt does not save from death. The little crab is possibly Vision. The red lines on the surfboard resemble Wanda's own magic. And snacking on such yogurt means snacking on Wanda's magic.

It's hard to say exactly what this commercial is conveying to us in a broader sense, but it implies that "magic" is dangerous or even deadly. And let me remind you, Wanda's powers have still not been officially called "magic."

Also, let's return to the theory about the connection between commercials and Infinity Stones. In the new commercial, we see a child alone on a deserted island, who looks exactly like Red Skull on Vormir—the sole survivor. And this could mean the Soul Stone.

All in the Movies

At the town cinema, there are two small but cute references to Disney and Pixar studios. You can notice the inscription and even small posters for the films "The Parent Trap" (about problematic twins who reconcile their parents) and "The Incredibles" (about a family with superpowers).

Agnes—Witch

How many more times must they hint and tell us that Agnes is Agatha Harkness. And she is a witch. Witch costume. Witch laugh. Strange reaction to Vision's use of powers. The other question is—whose side is she on?

Avenger Who Is Worthy

Vision. Poor android who always thinks about humanity and the people around him, but doesn't think about himself, thereby constantly putting his life at risk. By the way, he has already died a couple of times. In this episode, he explores the town and its residents, trying to find an answer and help. He was on the verge of death, again! But we should pay attention to the details.

First—Vision suddenly changed his clothes himself; earlier in the series, he only changed his appearance, but not the look of his clothes. After all, as Monica told us, it is controlled by Wanda. Second—the stone. When Vision passes through the energy field, his stone is in place, and even glows with some kind of light. And this is strange, because the Infinity Stone is no longer there, and Wanda's magic does not extend outside the field. Plus, note how the shot and pose are set—exactly as it was in "Infinity War." Third—what about Vision's memory? To what point were his settings rolled back, that he remembers Wanda but does not remember the Avengers?

Rewriting People at the Molecular Level

Monica's cells were literally rewritten. And we are smoothly approaching the moment when Monica will be officially announced as a new superhero (Photon). Also, it's worth noting that Darcy emphasized that Rambeau went through the field twice—no one has done that yet.

Nightmare or Mephisto?

So, let's figure out the differences between the two hypothetical villains of the show. Strange visions, brainwashing, memory replacement—these are Nightmare's abilities. Nightmare feeds on Wanda's and the people around her fear + absorbs others' magic. And these ambiguous phrases from Evan Peters about "devilish and nightmare" only confuse us more.

Mephisto is a powerful demon or devil. He is served by astral forms of some deceased people who are trapped in the bodies of demons. Mephisto constantly strives to get other souls of living beings into his kingdom. He gives up souls only according to a deal.

Nightmare is able to capture the astral form of a sleeping person and transfer it to his kingdom, where he can embody the most terrible fears of the victim. Nightmare can arbitrarily change the shape and density of his body in accordance with the subconscious memories of the victims. And he draws power from the fears of other people.

So which of them is in charge of the whole process? We'll find out very soon.

Halloween Details

Not meaningful for the plot, but pleasing to the viewers' eyes, references—the costumes of children and adults at the celebration. Here we have Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat, Freddy Krueger, and Jason Voorhees. And in the twins' room, there is a drawing resembling Deadpool.

Mutants in the MCU

Let's return to the theory that Wanda will kickstart the introduction of mutants into the universe. Either her magic activates their powers, or she creates them with her magic—in general, all options are accepted. The main thing is—give us mutants!

Limits of Wanda's Abilities

An interesting moment in the episode is related to Vision's walk through Westview. He encounters several groups of people frozen in place, and some of them are even crying. It seems that Wanda or someone else is not influencing them now. And they don't have the ability or need to control the entire city. But given what happens at the end of the episode, everything could still change. The scale of the disaster could be even greater. And this makes Wanda a bigger threat than everyone expected.
