The DC FanDome show gave an idea of where the DC cinematic universe is heading and what the upcoming premieres will look like.

On August 22, the first part of the grand show by Warner Bros. studio called DC FanDome took place, dedicated to future projects based on DC comics. At this event, we were shown the first trailer for the film 'The Batman' by Matt Reeves, concept art for 'The Flash' and 'Black Adam', and so on. We've gathered all the most interesting things in one place.

Wonder Woman: 1984

Almost everything is known about the sequel to the film about the adventures of the main heroine of the DC cinematic universe, Wonder Woman, because its premiere will take place on October 1. However, new promotional materials (poster and banner) for the film were presented at DC FanDome:

And the final trailer, where we finally get a good look at Cheetah in all her glory:

The project is created by the team that brought us the original film, and they are joined by actors Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig, who will play the antagonists. There is no doubt about the success of the new project. We're counting the days until the premiere.

The Flash

One of the most troubled projects in the DCEU is the solo film about the fastest man on Earth. The film has changed directors several times, the script has been revised, and the premiere keeps being postponed. It seems everything has settled now, the Flashpoint concept is approved, and the project will be directed by Andrés Muschietti (the 'It' duology). It is known that Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will appear in the film in their interpretations of Batman.

And we also got a glimpse of Barry Allen's updated costume from the new film:

The premiere of 'The Flash' is expected in early summer 2022. We hope there will be no more delays.

Black Adam

It has been known for quite some time that the hero named Black Adam in the DC cinematic universe will be played by Dwayne Johnson. However, no other details were previously announced. Now we can admire the concept art featuring new DCEU heroes:

And we even got to see a kind of animated teaser with the backstory of the hero and his planet:

The film by Jaume Collet-Serra ('Non-Stop') will be released on December 23, 2021, so we don't have long to wait for the premiere of the full trailer.

The Suicide Squad 2

One of the most intriguing projects at DC FanDome 2020 was the sequel to 'Suicide Squad', directed by James Gunn ('Guardians of the Galaxy'). Although the official trailer was not presented, much more became known about the film.

First, we learned what the poster and promo art for the film, which has the subtitle 'The Suicide Squad: Mission Out', look like:

Second, we were introduced to the main characters of the story in a stylish video. And yes, King Shark is finally in place.

Third, the film's featurette lifted the veil on some aspects of the project, like Harley Quinn's new look and the characteristics of John Cena's character.

Justice League: Snydercut

Perhaps the main project for which the entire DC FanDome event was conceived was the director's cut of the film 'Justice League'. Zack Snyder's original vision will be released as a mini-series on HBO Max, with each of the 4 episodes lasting about 1 hour.

No extra words are needed here, it's enough to just watch the spectacular trailer set to the legendary song Hallelujah, which Snyder previously used in 'Watchmen':

The Batman

The 'Snyder Cut' trailer gave us roughly what we expected, but 'The Batman' by Matt Reeves was a real mystery. As a result, we got a lot of materials giving an idea of the future blockbuster.

In new footage, you can see in detail the dark spirit of Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne:

When to expect the second part of DC FanDome?

DC FanDome also showed two new video games — Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and Gotham Knights. The second part of the event is expected on September 12. Tentatively, they will show fresh materials for the sequels to 'Aquaman' and 'Shazam', which will get the subtitle 'Fury of the Gods'.
