
'Train to Busan 2: Peninsula' is the first blockbuster in cinemas after quarantine.
Cinemas in Russia are gradually starting to open, and with them come high-profile premieres. One of the most anticipated films of August is the Korean zombie blockbuster 'Train to Busan 2: Peninsula' (Peninsula).
Plot of the Film
A few years after the outbreak of a mysterious virus in South Korea, only a peninsula surrounded by deadly zombies remains. Former soldier Han Jung-seok, along with a special unit, heads to the closed territory to find hidden money. Along the way, he will have to face not only the undead but also insane people.
Sequel to the Sensational Hit
The original 'Train to Busan' was released in 2016 and almost immediately became a global hit, grossing nearly $100 million at the box office. The film attracted attention with its fresh approach to the overused zombie theme, Asian flavor, and extremely dynamic and spectacular storytelling.
A couple of years later, it was decided to create a sequel, also directed by Yeon Sang-ho. The main roles in the film are played by:

Release Date of 'Train to Busan 2: Peninsula'
