«All Day and a Night»

Joe Robert Cole, who worked on the Marvel hit «Black Panther», directed a new film for Netflix based on his own script, «All Day and a Night». The film stars Ashton Sanders from «Moonlight» and Jeffrey Wright from «Westworld».

We are told about a young man who committed a murder and how he deals with the consequences. Reflecting on his own story and the circumstances that led to this moment, he hopes to help his son break this cycle.

The series is set in Hollywood in the 1940s, its «golden age». The characters try to make a career. The series attracts with its cast, including David Corenswet, Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope, Samara Weaving, Laura Harrier, and others. Also, the creator of the project is Ryan Murphy.

Into the Night

A Belgian project based on a science fiction novel by Jacek Dukaj. According to the plot, the sun begins to destroy all life on the planet. Passengers and crew of a plane flying a night flight learn about the disaster and, to survive, head west, avoiding dawn. But during the flight, the situation quickly gets out of control.

«The Half of It»

Premiere: May 1

A school athlete hires an honor student to help him win the heart of the local beauty. The situation becomes noticeably more complicated when Ellie realizes that Deacon has romantic feelings for her. The film is directed by Alice Wu, previously known for the rom-com «Saving Face».

«The Eddy»

Premiere: May 8

A British musical mini-series from the author of the films «Whiplash» and «La La Land» — Damien Chazelle. And this is already the most important reason to watch the project. The main roles are played by André Holland, Leïla Bekhti, and Vincent Henein.

According to the plot, New York pianist Elliot Udo has settled in Paris. He owns a stake in a loss-making club, is in a complicated relationship with a singer, and is hiding from his former fame. One day, his 15-year-old daughter Julie appears on the club's doorstep, and Elliot must finally pull himself together.

«Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt»

Premiere: May 12

Another interactive film from Netflix, where the viewer can influence the story by making choices for the characters, thereby creating various plot options. The project features Jon Hamm, Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Daniel Radcliffe, and other stars.

At the center of the plot is an exciting adventure of the girl Kimmy, spanning three states. Throughout the film, viewers will see: explosions, dancing hamburgers, a wedding, robot battles, and the appearance of the leader of a mysterious doomsday cult.

«White Lines»

Premiere: May 15

A woman tries to unravel the mysterious death of her brother, a famous DJ who disappeared from Ibiza many years ago. The author of the project is Álex Pina, who worked on the popular and most successful Spanish series «Money Heist».

A new sitcom starring Steve Carell, the American creator of the series «The Office». Promises to be the comedy bomb of this year from Netflix. The main character of the series is US Army General Mark Marke Naird, who dreams of leading the US Air Force, but instead becomes the commander of the Space Force. Now he must begin the exploration of the Moon and ensure America's dominance in space.
