A trailer for the continuation of the popular show starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini has appeared on the official Netflix YouTube channel. The video, of course, doesn’t reveal all the secrets, but it does give a certain idea of what awaits us.

What to Expect from Season 2 of ‘Dead to Me’

Obviously, the continuation will pick up right where the story left off, namely the episode with the fall of Steve’s lifeless body (James Marsden). Now the heroines Judy and Jen face the task of keeping this crime a secret. Judging by the video, the involvement of the authorities and the FBI in this story is inevitable.

The trailer also adds intrigue to the narrative, as the fleeting phrase on Jen’s garage, ‘I know what you did,’ says a lot, but at the same time gives the creators room to maneuver.

The Series’ Success and Premiere Date of the Continuation

The debut season of the project ‘Dead to Me’ appeared on the Netflix platform in May 2019. Already in June of the same year, it was announced that a continuation was coming! Christina Applegate, who played one of the lead roles in the show, was nominated for Screen Actors Guild, Emmy, and Golden Globe awards for her work. The series was named among the best of 2019 by many Western and domestic critics.

The premiere of the new season is scheduled for May 8. As is tradition, all episodes will be immediately available for streaming on Netflix.
