We came back and realized:
• We need to capture everything while it's fresh
• This might be useful for others
When we were preparing, we faced a problem: the location is famous, but due to the huge amount of information, it's very difficult to create an adaptive route for a first visit.
It turned out not just a collection of places.
This is a living story of one journey. It has everything: transport, food, accommodation, a navigator with points.
Do you even need to read this?
Honestly, you can skip it. Altai is amazing in this regard. Just fly to Gorno-Altaysk, get in a car, and drive 400 km along the Chuysky Tract to the border with Mongolia.
Trust me, that's enough for complete ecstasy.
I'm not exaggerating, National Geographic included this road in the top 10 most beautiful in the world for a reason.
We enriched this story with our experience:
We found places that are hard to find in hyped guidebooks and from bloggers. Accommodation that stands out from the variety. Cute huskies and deer, by the way🐶
What's inside:
80 pages: routes, accommodation, life hacks + video with voiceover (coming soon 🔜)
📎 [PDF] — full guide
📎 [Figma] — also full and more clickable, but may lag due to size
📎 [Navigator] — the entire route with points
If you know someone who might find it useful, please share. Let more people see Altai🔥
