It all started with one trip to Altai. My girlfriend and I were looking for travel companions – and we couldn't find them, anywhere or anyhow.
Only by chance on the road we met a woman who, as it turned out, was also unsuccessfully looking for company. We joined forces and ended up having a great time.
But that was exactly one in a million chance to meet a travel companion in person, almost a coincidence. And I wondered: why is this so difficult now, in the age of social networks?
🧶
Later, I started looking for like-minded people for a new project. I poked around in many narrow chat groups, sometimes accidentally finding the right people.
In the Jewish community – I never could, even though everyone there seems to be "one of us".
I lived in Israel for five years, surrounded by thousands of Russian speakers, but socialization was still tough.
Every time you want to find "your people" in a new place, it's like hitting a wall. There is no single solution, no place to search, only hope for chance.
🧶
We don't yet know how to solve this. Honestly.
So we're exploring the problem from all angles – talking to people, testing hypotheses, observing a lot, and testing again.
This channel is about our journey. About what we tried, where we made mistakes, where we found solutions, and what conclusions we drew along the way.
If the problem resonates with you too – welcome!
