🎚 New Update Is Already on the Site

We've gathered several important improvements for LitCritic: synopsis in comprehensive analysis, ideas page, text check, custom character roles, and Canvas enhancements.

1️⃣ Ideas Page

Now you can suggest ideas for service development directly on the site.

On the page you can:
- suggest a new feature;
- view ideas from other users;
- support ideas you like;
- track the status of an idea.


Authors of the best implemented ideas will receive bonus tokens.

2️⃣ Synopsis in Comprehensive Analysis

A new block has appeared in Comprehensive Analysis - Synopsis.

After a general text analysis, a synopsis will be generated based on the analysis results: chapters, structure, overall assessment, and key events.
The synopsis is created for free and does not consume tokens. One synopsis can be created per general report.


3️⃣ Text Check and Dictionary

A text check has appeared in the editor. Now the editor can highlight possible errors and suggest corrections directly in the document.

You can:
- apply corrections;
- add words to the dictionary;
- ignore individual triggers;
- manage the dictionary and the list of ignored errors.


The check takes into account project terms: character names and world elements from the Story Passport should not be constantly highlighted as errors.

4️⃣ Custom Character Roles

In the Story Passport, you can now set your own character roles.

For example:
- mentor;
- false ally;
- older brother;
- keeper of secrets;
- rival.


Custom roles work both in the Story Passport and on the Canvas.

5️⃣Canvas Improvements

We have improved the Canvas.

Now you can:
- choose more colors for cards and arrows;
- customize the direction of connections: right, left, no arrow, or both directions;
- create your own connection labels and reuse them;
- edit custom character roles directly on the cards.

6️⃣ Videos from Authors and Bloggers

A block with videos from authors and bloggers has appeared on the site.

We have started collecting short videos about how authors use LitCritic in working on text, ideas, structure, and editing. If you have also published videos, send us a link in private messages - we will add them to the homepage and mention your channel.
