Up to 700 thousand Russians are expected in Hainan this year. In 2025 there were just over half a million, and in the first 5 months of 2026 — already 308 thousand.


🏝 First, visas were canceled if tourists arrived on the island on direct flights from other countries. Then the visa-free regime started working throughout China.

And by the way, Hainan is the only territory in China where a separate offshore Duty Free model operates – goods are sold there immediately without taxes and duties. 💵That is, you don't need to bother with collecting documents for Tax Free.

✈️It is most convenient for residents of the Far East - flying to the Chinese island takes about 6 hours, while to Turkey it takes as much as 13-14.
