Well, at least for most channels, and for me in particular.

Why? Because now everyone does cross-posting to all sorts of platforms. I alone have automatic distribution of posts to a bunch of different platforms, where this content is read not only by those who are subscribed to me.

If someone doesn't do this, it probably means they don't need it and their channel goals were different from mine. And of course, I don't judge them. Everyone has their own path.

So the very philosophy or approach to running a Telegram channel changes when you automate cross-posting. If in TG I wrote for my cozy, cute subscribers, now I write for a "broad" audience. You know what I mean, right?

And it's neither good nor bad, it's just a fact. The core of subscribers is the core, but as soon as we talk about content consumption by non-subscribers, it changes the attitude a bit. Plus, traffic in TG is still declining in Russia, and it seems inevitable to turn to other platforms.

What do you think?
